Coastal Fishing
Marco Island, Naples & 10,000 Islands

Marco Island is considered the largest of the Ten Thousand Islands which stretch all the way to Florida Bay and the Florida Keys. Anglers onboard Wild Thing will be treated to some of the best Coastal Fishing in the world.  Species to be caught include; Snook, Tarpon, Sea Trout, Red Fish, Black Drum, and Sharks -- including Black-tips, Bulls and Tigers and Hammerheads. The best time of year to experience big time fishing is April and May, however the action starts as early as March and usually stretches all the way into September due to the amazing tropical weather enjoyed almost year-round!

South West Florida offers world-class snook fishing.
Snook

Likely the best tasting coastal fish in the Gulf. It's also great fun to catch them. They are seldom found very far from shore. Snook move around a great deal in our inland waterways. With the rising of the water temperature each Spring they grow more active and hungry prowling the edges of the mangrove roots and oyster bars in search of food. They take refuge beneath any dock, floating platform, tree or log they happen to pass.
Big tarpon are just one of the saltwater species of gamefish, caught in the waters of Marco Island, Naples and the 10,000 Islands
Tarpon

The sheer size of this fish will leave you with a great sense of awe. Marco Island waters are known to hold Tarpon over 100+ pounds! They are primarily found in the coastal waters but many adult tarpons spawn offshore where the open water makes for great runs and jumps by this beautiful fish. Tarpon mostly feed on small fish and crustaceans. The best time to snag them is late Spring and all Summer long. Usually attracted to a display of live baits the patience of the angler is rewarded with the fight of a lifetime battling this giant.
